Booking Help

Q: How do I book on-line?
A: If you know where you want to stay, select the lodge from the dropdown list on the homepage and click on “check availability”.

If you are unsure which lodge is nearest to your destination, type in the name of the town and click “find”

Once you have chosen your lodge follow the four stage booking process to make your reservation.

You will need a credit/debit card to guarantee your booking. However no payment is taken from the card – with Innkeeper’s Lodge you pay for your room when you arrive.

Q: There are no rooms at my chosen lodge
A: If there are no rooms available, alternative lodges with the requested rooms will be suggested to you within a 40 mile radius of your chosen lodge.

Q: Is breakfast included in the price?
A: All our prices are per room not per person and include a complimentary continental style breakfast served in relaxed surroundings in the pub or restaurant a few steps away from the lodge.

Q: It won’t accept my credit/debit card
A: You can guarantee you’re booking using one of the following cards:
Switch, Delta, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Please ensure that you correctly enter: the number on the front of the card, start date and issue number (if applicable) and expiry date. Please note that the expiry date must be later than the last day of your intended stay. Please use an alternative card if this is not the case

Q: It won’t accept my telephone number or my post code
A: Please contact Room Reservations on 0870 2430500 for assistance.

Q: What is Express Check-inn?
A: Express Check-inn is a quick way of checking in at the lodge allowing you to get to your room as quickly as possible and relax after a busy day’s work or travel. Find out more

Q: How do I know if my booking has been confirmed?
A: At the end of the booking process you will be given a unique reservation number. This confirms your booking. An e-mail will also be sent confirming the details and the reservation number.

Q: What happens if I do not have a reservation number?
A: This may be because there has been a technical fault or the number has been mislaid. In each case please contact Room Reservations on 0870 2430500 for assistance.

Q: I have made a booking and not yet received an e-mail confirmation?
A: An automated e-mail confirmation is sent as soon as the booking is made. If you do not receive this please contact Room Reservations on 0870 2430500 for assistance.

Q: How do I amend my booking on-line?
A: On the homepage under “Amend/Cancel Your Booking” select the arrival date of the booking you wish to amend, the reservation number and the surname of the booker or the guest – all three must be entered. Click on “Amend”. Make your amendments and complete the booking process. You will be issued with a new reservation number confirming your amendments and your original booking will be automatically cancelled.

Q: How do I cancel my booking on-line?
A: On the homepage under “Amend/Cancel Your Booking” select the arrival date of the booking you wish to amend, the reservation number and the surname of the booker or the guest – all three must be entered. Click on “Cancel”. Your booking will be displayed. Click on “complete”. A cancellation number will be displayed confirming the cancellation of the booking. Please take a note of this number. An e-mail will automatically be sent confirming the booking has been cancelled.

Any cancellations or amendments must be made by 1pm on the day of arrival. If you cancel a reservation after 1pm on the arrival date, your card will be charged for one night’s accommodation per room booked.

Q: Can I make a group booking?
A: You can make a booking of up to 4 rooms online. If you require more than four rooms please contact Room Reservations on 0870 2430500 for assistance.

Q: How far in advance can I book?
A: Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance

Q: How many people does a family room accommodate?
A: The majority of our family rooms accommodates two adults and up two children under the age of 16. The room consists of a double bed and a double sofa bed.
